palamine
We have a volunteer Park Host/Hostess position in beautiful British Columbia. This position is at Monck Provincial Park near Merritt, British Columbia. There is a very nice site in the park for the host. The site is large, terraced, treed and has a beautiful view of Nicola Lake. The site has water and power as well as a rock pit for grey water. There is a dump station just down the road. Staff at our park receive 25% off in our little store and free fire wood. The position is for 2 - 3 days per week, usually 2 - 3 hours at a time. The host is primarily the campground entertainment provider. We have an amphitheater and show family movies, usually on Fridays and Saturdays. Other activities include a pet parade, an "Amazing Race" and a sports days. Host could also arrange their own activity. Supplies and prize money is provided. The rest of the week is yours to explore the vicinity. We are located 20 minutes from the town of Merritt and 50 minutes from the city of Kamloops. Vancouver is just 2 1/2 hours. This is ranching country and the scenery is quite spectacular. Because this is a volunteer position, without pay, both Canadian and American applicants will be considered.
