Dgallo66
Ants are one thing, but there are other things that might show up if you don't take the time to protect your rig ahead of time. This guy in his video read the steps on what to do alright, but he didn't follow through. Take a look what happened to him ! https://youtu.be/7FjjtglDKdE -Lobo
Retiredin1993
Ok. Here's one for you. We actually found ants INSIDE a closed jar of peanut butter. So after buying a new jar we put it into a zip lock bag...guess what? Yep, they STILL got inside the zip lock & new unopened jar. No other places had a hint of ant activity. Industrious little buggers. Years ago there used to be a shelf liner you could buy but called, "No Bugs M'Lady". Is that stuff still available? Me thinks you have been using Wrknrvr shot glasss too much. jk LOL We use Home Defense when we set up and that seem to do the job for us. Pat & Pete
Me thinks you have been using Wrknrvr shot glasss too much. jk LOL We use Home Defense when we set up and that seem to do the job for us. We also use Home Defense with good results , but it does nothing for those little critters that drop on our rig from the trees . The wind can carry them a fair distance . Goes around , comes around . Enybelle
Down here in FL we've done battle with the ants as well. Got rid of them inside using Ant-Kil by Protexall. Then started using the D.E. around the outside. Now that it's getting warm again we see them around us but so far not inside. *crossing fingers*
Brook34
Lots of people confuse borax with boric acid (which you can get in a pharmacy). The boric acid can be mixed with sugar to attract the ants and kill them. People have reported borax to work, too, but if you look at the commercial ant powders, most of them have the boric acid. coachmac9
Good information!! We are currently in a war with them also...worst I have ever seen and I grew up in Texas where ants are everywhere. The only good thing about these are they aren't fire ants, just little tiny sugar ants but they are everywhere.
Aggie79-82a
We just got rid of the ant that greeted us in Livingston, TX. Put out borax, cleaned the counters with soap and water, and wiped them down with Clorox wipes. Oh, and the next time we bought donuts, I put them in a plastic container at Shipley's. Would not even take the box home. Worked. Still gone. 2019 Jayco 5th Wheel 28.5RSTS 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.2L
Ronbo
I had a bad ant problem. Bought some of the liquid bait traps. No more ants. Ron C. 2013 Dynamax Trilogy 3850 D3 2000 Kenworth T2000 Optimus Prime
