Liberty
Well we ran the battery bank down last night and so I said 'Self" and I said "what'. Go check the Gen set oil level add if needed, put some air in the air bags under it then start it. I said good idea Anne NEEDS coffee. So I did. LeRoy & Anne Silver Eagle conversion PT Cruiser Conv. Guest David & Lorna Schinske
What did I do to MY (skoolie) bus today... so far nothing. YESTERDAY I scraped pounds of butyl and silicone caulk out of the old window frames and I'm still not finished... I've got a total of 30 windows plus the drivers window to remove, clean, recaulk, paint the bus part of the frame and pick-n-choose which windows will be kept and which will be sheeted over with metal before replacing in the bus. I loathe silicone caulk and butyl. But it's better than dealing with all the rust we had on our Eagle05!
Jerry Campbell
Nothing, I had to go make money but yesterday I took her to Southern Oregon Diesel and had her serviced. I have stopped working on her for this year to get ready to hit the road for the winter. Liberty
While sitting in the RV lot of the Albq. Balloon Fiesta we talked to window screen /cover folks and they are now about done doing the window and front 2 side windows. Can tell a diff. already. Now we can pull the Refletix out of the windshield. YEA. CoachShades Jim & Abbie Wiler Great job, fast and neat LeRoy & Anne Silver Eagle conversion PT Cruiser Conv. jmhcah
Waxed both sides getting ready to leave on Thursday for the Blue Bird rally. Will do both ends tomorrow. Finished the wheels a few days ago. Sure hope the weather is nice when we leave. Hate running through mud puddles before we even get out of the park. Liberty
Life without Reflectix... INCONCEIVABLE! We have had the Alum. foil look in the front widshield since Jan of this year. Today we could enjoy the one way look. Had to remember to hang the curtains this PM when we returned from the fireworks on the final Sat. eve of Balloon Fiesta. Small price for the seemingly larger home. Light does wonders for space. We are up early in the AM to crew for a balloon. LeRoy & Anne Silver Eagle conversion PT Cruiser Conv. Jarlaxle
I looked at an old trailer for parts yesterday. Too bad the guy wanted about four times what it was worth...that was a waste of half the morning and $15 worth of diesel fuel. Looking at another junk TT today, maybe. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John (and occasionally my wife Liz) Former rigs: 1976 Holiday TT, 1984 Ford B-700 school bus Current rig: 1993 International Genesis FE school bus conversion. Liberty
Aprilwhine, way to go on the Prevost. Pics please. This Pm we are (or will be) packing and securing for a travel day tommorrow. We have been in Albq. for the Balloon Fiesta for the past 2 weeks. Yes 100 gallons of water can get us through. Did get a pump out yesterday so we know more about that end of the system than we did before. Headed to T or C NM to pick up the mail forwarded from SD, and then to the Hot springs to get over these work days. Plans now are to head to SE AZ till mid Nov. then back to Ks for a farm auction and the GK Christmas programs etc. THEN back to AZ so we will not need the nice new coats we got for Vol. @ ALBF. It is amazing how much stuff we get out and have to repack in 2 weeks. LeRoy & Anne Silver Eagle conversion PT Cruiser Conv. I'd hang on to those coats.. it sure cooled off last night here in Socorro! And we are an hour south of you... or an hour north depending on where you are! I just glad we cleaned up the furnace yesterday so that it's ready to go.

dreamscape
We just finished up with the last of three bus rallies, and I'm pooped, need a vacation! Actually we bought two new to us Flexsteel captains chairs with six way power and lumbar at Colaws near Carthage MO. I got the co pilot in and wired up, Becky has a happy fanny now! Her old chair has a new owner, so we didn't have to dump it. I'll wait to install mine after we get back to Abilene. Removing the air ride and getting a pedestal to mount the new one on. The old ones just didn't match our interior, so MDW said lets get some! That's why I love her so much, she was reading my mind! :-D Becky and Paul Lawry 1968 Silver Eagle Model 01 VIN # 7443 8v71 Allison HT 740 2011 Buick Enclave Full Timing Our Travel Blog

Liberty
What a BEAUTIFUL Prevost. Love the interior colors. David and Lorna back in the '80s we had a 1957 GMC sckoolie with a 389 Pontiac that we used to haul a Sand Toys Sand Dancer 4 buggy in. that was our first "tin tent". Jan. 21,22 & 23. A combined bus rally @ Quartszite, Ya'll come now, ya hear. All we did to our bus today was run some fuel thru her getting back to TorC NM. We had used a 1/2 tank of fuel running the generator @ The Balloon Fiesta. Headed for Sierra Vista AZ on Wed we think. Time will tell. LeRoy & Anne Silver Eagle conversion PT Cruiser Conv.
