rbertalotto
I have an iPad mini without cell connection. I use a Garmin GLO gps unit. Will the app RV copilot work with this combination? lappir
As long as your iPad mini has a built in GPS, it should work. Alie&Jim's Carrilite
Co-Pilot will work on GPS mode alone. But most tablets, I-pad or Android usually will default to using WiFi or your Data plan unless it's turned off. On my Samsung, every time we open/power it to use with CoPilot we have to turn off WiFI. As long as your iPad mini has a built in GPS, it should work. The iPad without a cell connection does not have a GPS. I would also like to know if Co Pilot would work using a non cell iPad with an add on GPS. Has anyone done this. 2019 Airstream Flying Cloud 27FB 2011 Ford F350 CC SRW "Be thankful we're not getting all the government we're paying for." chiefneon
Howdy! Just for a test why do you try the free version of Co-pilot. If it works then invest in the RV version. Alie&Jim's Carrilite
Before the Samsung tablet, we used a cheapo Polaroid tablet with a USB plug in GPS. It worked until a nameless dog knocked a cup of coffee onto/into it. The Polaroid was never connected to the internet.
