  1. We are in the KOA in West Wendover for Speedweek on the salt. Then off to Promontory Summit for a week volunteering at the Golden Spike Historical Site.
  2. We are settled back in our little cabin in Mazama now. Kurt is doing well and is now using a cane to walk. Walking or lying is it..just can't sit much yet...big oww Helping get ready for winter and such.Post op appt. on the 29th in Wenatchee..115 miles each way. All in all long term looks quite good. Helps to be in excellent health when something like this happens. Thanks to all for your thoughts and comments.
  3. Hi Nick, I bought it here http://www.oldrivertrucks.com/default.htm The salesman was Gene Craft..I think he retired. I got a real good truck at a great price...timing was good too. Hope this helps. jayslaptop@gmail.com

  4. I can't, for the life of me, remember where you bought your truck. Mississippi/Alabama I know but can't remember the company. Help me out? Thanks!

  5. Been here in Vegas for a while working the Mint 400 Desert Race. Nice visit from Rick and Alanna Friday afternoon. Heading to Mazama Monday.
  6. We have spent several days here http://lvpark.com/ near Eunice, La. Local owned and managed park in the center of Cajun country. Big pull through sites too. On west tomorrow to Texas and then to Las Vegas to work the Mint 400 desert race
  7. Set up at Poche's Fish-n-Camp in Breaux Bridge, La. A little tight but were in. Leave on the 27th for Betty's RV.
  8. In Vernal, Utah today working our way slowly to the HDT Rally in Hutch.
  9. Jim, We stayed at the SKP Ranch, good but quite a drive. There is a park at Whites City near the entrance..looked OK for a short stay. If I was to go in again I would take the extra Ranger guided tour. Hope you folks are well, travel safe friend.

  10. Vicki and I are in Retama staying on 1 of Jack and Danielle's neat as a pin lots. We'll be here till March 1st.
  11. Rainbow Plantation is very nice and spacious. Kinda glad to be planted for a while. Went down to the state park today and of all things, we bumped into RVGary and DW. Lots of Rally reminiscing. New friends 'on the road' cool! J&V
  12. We leave Natchitoches, La. tomorrow for Natchez, Ms. then on to Summerdale, Al. This stop has been a treat as Natchitoches is a very historical small town. It seems some people had the foresight to save the town as it is a designated 'Main Street America' city. Very nice. J&V
