Rates have really gone up recently. We have a clean record and it is high.

Actually I was audited. Had face to face meeting, showed him my log book and he left. That was the end of it.

Well I didn't work full time. My trade was not full time. I worked when work is needed. Basically plant shut downs. For maintaince and plant emergency. Now I had nothing to write off between jobs.

Hand truck can move move than that.

It is cheaper. Cables and all needed come with it. Cuts out cost of buss bars, cabling, time and cost of making up the cabling. If I build a house, that is undecided just now, I will go this way.

We sold everything when we went full time. Lot of cost in keeping a place. Don't regret it. Our home was in NC and they heavy on taxes. We like Texas better. We have bought property here and setting up on it.

We traveled full time to jobs. We we wrote off park rent, mileage to and from job, allowed meal expense. Irs has a stand amount allowed for that area. One could keep all meal recipes but standard amount generous. Also work clothes as frc is required. One cannot deduct street clothes. Maybe more but retired now. We used TurboTax. They have all the needed forms

Ok guys, went to Mckoys and they have them.

We have an existing meter pole and was in service years ago. Got power company out there yesterday. Code has changed and pole is too short. I need 5' in ground and 14' high. so need 20' pole or post. 6" post or 6X6" square post. I prefer a square post. Be easier to mount to flat surface. Lowes don't have. Home Depot don't have. McCoys don't have. Haven't talked with them yet but nothing showing on line. Any of you guys know where electricians buy these posts?

Works real good too. I lost air once on my truck due to a valve bypassing. It only went to trailer brake system though. All 3 axles locked down. electric never worked this good.

Subject I hadn't thought about in years. I have air over hydraulics. No air brakes lock.

Don't work for me. Someone has to fix mine for me.

lippert builds drv chassis to drv specs. This discussion brings to mind a story. Years ago I worked on a maintenance job and we basically done what was needed. A part of the plant had many changes over the years. Upgrades and additions had added lots of weight to the building. So engineers had us go in and add braces to the steel. We tore out walls, welded in cleats and bolted steel. Well we should take a lesson from them. We add more and more in our campers and never consider the weight specs of the unit. Now we on this forum are more informed than the masses of rv owners. I dare say over half of rvs are overloaded and some severely. I am surprised there are not more failures.
