TreyandSusan
Can you still overnight in the Cabellas lot? There are signs that say not to but people do it every night. Cabela's does not care (last time I asked the management). It was the city that put up the signs and make a law. The issue was truckers starting to use the parking lot as a drop off or storage for trailers for days/weeks at a time. Just weighed a Motorhome a few days ago who stayed overnight with no issues. Just about every day I wake up to go get breakfast at Dan's there are folks (RVs and Trucks) there overnighting or parked all around the Cabela's parking lots. donf888
P.p.s. FWIW, the b.s. I've had dealing with lost pads & broken calipers (no thanks to Kodiak!), we coulda had about 10k more dollars over the years -- disc brakes are huge over-kill with HDT toter, and potentially high maintenance (what with pads, calipers & rotors); I do love the BlueDot affect -- it's amazing to feel all 14 wheels grab at the same time, just not necessary if driving an HDT -- plain old electric brake drums, properly & cheaply maintained, woulda been just fine!@! Jack Mayer
We are down for the night at a Casino at Exit 92 in LA. Frog Leap, the RV park here that we have stayed in many times before did not "have space" once they found out we were a semi. Even though they DID have space moments before (on the phone call). So we are just boodocking in the back of the Casino. Way cheaper, anyway. Tomorrow we will arrive at Lake Conroe KOA for a week. We generally avoid KOA's but since Roger and Deb live there, we will make an exception Quote Jack & Danielle Mayer #60376 Lifetime Member Living on the road since 2000PLEASE no PM's.
