Lg G4 performance as a telephone and hotspot

Recommended Posts

Has anyone started using the LG G4 as a hotspot? If so how well is it working for you? Also, is it a good telephone - signal sensitivity call quality etc. All the reviews on line talk about the computer properties of the phone, but rarely talk about the telephone qualities of the phone.

I have the LG G4, bought it about a six weeks ago from Verizon. Had to pay retail to preserve my unlimited data. We've used the phone numerous times as a hotspot with Foxfi, and PDAnet. No problems.

I'm very pleased with the phone call quality. I had a Motorola Droid Bionic that was about five years old and I had to use a headset or bluetooth earpiece to talk on the phone as the speakers were shot and were almost unusable.

I like the replaceable battery, and I like the expandable storage card. I would recommend this phone.

Thanks everone for the replies. Wenvalley, we have almost precisely the same situation as you! We have the DROID bionic also. Mine still works pretty well because I have refused to install Jellybean bacause some said it would slow the phone down. My wife inadvertently installed it on hers. The were right. Hers is noticeably painfuly

lower than mine now. I will have to pay full price too, to preserve my unlimited plan.
