Just a suggestion but you might find checking out Steve Gibson's grc.com site for Spinrite. I've save many a HDD and or over the past couple of decades with this. Be sure to check out the user emails thanking Steve. He is one of the older/long time guys like Bill Gates and others of that early era. I think he still does his work in machine language. -

Never been on one. I have strict orders to stay away from them till I get a job that will allow a write off. Been looking for one of those jobs ever since. lol Ron

OK! Now don't any of you guys laugh. Is there any chance that a Segway would work for this job. I know they have some new models. I think they can go up to 20 miles more or less on a battery charge. I was wondering if there would be much of a problem with terrain. They do have some off road units but with only two wheels they would still be limited.
