  1. Glenn; If you do not log in every 30 days or so they will kick you out. You may need to call DTNA to get reenacted.
  2. I know I shouldn't be on here since we no longer have our Century.....but after close to 200k on an 12.7 engine that is good for a minimum of 1.2k, with 800k on it. Our out of pocket on the engine was $2000 after 13years. Not including oil changes. Not bad! I bet the new owner will tell you the same!

    New to the fold!

Everyone Please Welcome! Ron & Julie Hart! To the fold they have just purchased our 2001 Freightliner Century HDT! Thanks again to everyone! Curt & Debbi
  4. Fellow Freightliner owner, If you have your manual? There will be a series of ignition key (on off) cycles that will bring you into the diagnostic side and allow you to check current and pre condition codes. It will also allow you to reset the system to get going again if it's not a harmful condition. Using the designated module numbers you will find a problem. But truly it sounds like a loose feed wire at the battery or bad ground. Curt

    Bobtail mileage

ARGO, Can you ship that for $800 To $900(fuel)? Curt
  7. I cannot access any forums?

  8. Came with the truck, mileage not too bad without DPF etc getting around 7.5 at 65 mph at a total of 47,250 lbs and 13 ft 4 in tall. I like the overall package and it runs about 1550 RPM at 65 too which is still in the powerband not above it.

    Scrap,

Was that you pulling three day cabs on the back of a day cab coming from the Sea Tac store on 200th street?

  10. Your saying a goose neck is better than a fifth wheel? Just curious?

    Curt

  11. The freightliners are not as nice, but with accessfreightliner and some tools a nine year old can fix them! Parts are as cheap as pickup truck parts. Volvo owners will have to see their shop most times, Freightliner owners 1/4 of that. Because you can fix them yourself! Mercedes engines are not as reliable as the series 60 and parts are expensive! My two cents! Curt

  12. Brian,

Did this off topic as to not upset the "V" brand owners. The Volvo is the quietest, smoothest truck out there! But it comes with more than it's share of problems, electrical is the one most common! You should have a nice "truck fund" for parts and maintenance for them! They have many Volvo specific parts that will cost you a small fortune to repair or replace.

  13. Jack,

Can I ask why you are selling your fifth? You just got it?

    Curt

  14. Brian,

Question? How were you able to buy a $40k pickup, but can't get a 20-30k loan for a hdt? It seems you must of had the credit for that amount to borrow for the pickup.

    Curt

  15. I am now offically a fan! Do you have the patio option? Pricings alot better than the Jayco, is it a true 4 season trailer?

    Thanks

    Curt
