I am wrong. It is Nebraska National Forest. You may want to call them to see what is open as they had a fire several years ago. You can drive all over, lots of hiking trails and yes the sky is unbelievable. They have a tree nursery that they grow seedlings for all of the state. If you have time you don't want to miss North Platte golden spike towel. You are going straight to Valentine, not cutting across to Merritt Dam right? By the way what are you driving?

While at Buffalo Bill Museum just down the road is the Lincoln county museum, excellent. If you are not in a huge camper right in this area is a state camp ground that has the North plate river right next to it. As you go north at Thedford go east 10 miles to see and camp if not too large the Halsey national forest. Largest hand planted forest in the world. Night sky is something you had never seen. By now you will see why they call them "the sand hills". Good luck!

I have watched the Lippert frame issue for many years. Clearly there is a problem but when I hear Lippert just builds to the customer specs I have concern. If my customer wanted me to do subquality work on my reputation I would say no.

I only have one credit card. If you ever had you CC company call you saying your card is canceled do to being hacked. It has happened to me three times in the last 10 years so don't think it won't happen.They will tell you a new one will be over nighted. It will not come for three days. You can travel but can't buy gas or food so when traveling I keep enough to last four or five days. Cash is always a handy item to help get out of a jam.

Some people think the cost is not relevant!! When I was in sales (35 years) I ended my sales pitch with the price. Closed 80% of sales calls.

Someone got a bargain on the lift. I had a motorcycle lift of theirs. It was definitely over engineered.

I would think Texas would want to see the car to verify the title matches the vin number on the car and to verify that the car is not stolen. Most states want this to be done within 30 days. At the least run the vin number to verify it is not stolen. I would start with a call to Texas license department.

Have you called silverleaf? I bought a 2002 Beaver one year ago with the silverleaf system. I called them and they were more than helpful.

100 lb propane tank can not be laid on it side. What ever you do run it by your propane supplier for safety requirements.

Direct wire works good for the seller but leaves the buyer out to dry. Would you really feel good if you were the buyer? Then what if the RV has a lien on it? There is more to it than direct wire transfer.
