G&K
Anyone know how to get the old trim off safely? Can you heat it up and weaken the glue? Some of the chromed plastic trim on the front of my 780 has the chrome starting to peel and I would like to renew it. rdickinson
Run it over to BMT and ask Fraser. Big rigs are their mainstay.

G&K
Problem fixed. I replaced the entire bumper with a brand new takeoff from a 2016. Ended up about the same price as just doing the chrome, but a much more comprehensive update. $875 CDN plus $220 CDN labor. I was told if you bought the pieces individually it would be over $3000. Judging by what I was quoted for the chrome alone that sounds about right.
