  1. We Volunteer at National Parks, state parks, church Camps, etc. Talk to people, check campsites, give tours, etc. We have also this year "Work Camped" at an RV Park, working in the office. "Boy! What an eye opener." We get a campsite, electricity, laundry money, and $ 500/month for 25 hours. As I said it is an eye-opening position. The rest of the time we just bum around.
  2. I have a Dutch Star motor home. It has a "Water Compartment" where all of the tanks, pump, some of the lines, are together in one compartment together in the wingle compartment. We have been in the Panhandle of Texas here the overnight temp would get down to -5 f . I put a small ceramic heater in the compartment running 24/7 on low. The only problem I had was the lines coming out of the hot water heater froze up. The next night I put a 60 lamp (incondescent) below where the lines come out of the HWH and this solved THAT problem. I made sure to close off the Gray & Black valves, draining the hoses-making sure to close off the "hole" where the hose came out. I also used the water hose to fill up the water tank, then totally drained the hose. I had no problems after putting the lamp by the HWH. If you have water lines on the inside of the rig, they TOO can freeze if not insulated. It was a pain having to go out in a blizzard to drain the tanks, but that was MUCH better than having everything freeze up. NOTE: The drain hose WILL freeze up if you try to leave it out, to drain the gray water. Don't ask me how I know.
  3. Thanks for the information on Miller Insurance.  I will call Cheryl tomorrow.

  4. We have had the ATT MiFi for almost two years. Have been in two places this year in the Mid-west that had NO ATT. We used to have Verizon and ran into places that had NO Verizon, although this has been 4-5 years ago. They both suck when they don't work. We are investigating now to see what we are going to do. Is it too much to ask that we pay $ 50/m and get a device that works??

  5. Another FREE A/V is "Avast!" It is FREE, not very annoying, and will grab and tackle and virus that comes around. A GEEK fried of mine recommended it to me.
  6. Jack--
