Roy & Ann
I have the Winegard manual dish for the Western Arc. I have used it many times with no problems. I am using the Birdog Ultra to aim the Dish. I purchased an Eastern Arc LNB assembly I installed it connecting the single coax to the LNBin. The same as was in the original Western Arc. I use the Birdog set on DishPro .2e 72.7 and can get a lock. When I do a switch check on my 722 receiver I cannot get the satellite to come in. What am I doing wrong? 2005 New Horizons 36ft 5th/upgrades-Generator, Disk Brakes, Solar Package, Inverter. and more2008 Ford F450 crew cab DRW K3ROYhttp://www.roanontheroad.blogspot.com/
Zulu
Don't use the LNB IN port -- that's for a wing dish input. On the 1000.4 Eastern Arc LNB (below) or the 1000.2 Eastern Arc Twin, you should peak off the 72.7 port: SKP #79313 / Full-Timing / 2001 National RV Sea View / 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubiconwww.rvSeniorMoments.comDISH TV for RVs
Roy & Ann
That seemed to work. I connected to the 72.7 connector and now I can get 72.7 and 61.5. They come in fine. But I can live with it this way I do not have 77 is there anything I need to do to get 77? . Roy & Ann
I realize that. 77 does not show up on the switch test so I cannot get local channels. I used to live in NYC and had the eastern arc in my house. I received all of the NYC channels. When I sold my house I moved the receiver to the rv. I have been getting NYC locals all over the country for the last 3 years with no problem. Of coarse I have been using the western arc. Now 77 does not show up on switch test. Thanks Roy New York City on the Western Arc is broadcast all over the USA. New York City on the Eastern Arc is on Satellite 61.5 Spot Beam 02. If you are outside of Spot Beam 02, you can't receive those local channels. Roy & Ann
Zulu I originally purchased a Winegard TR-6100 which is a 1000.2 WA. I then purchased a Dish Network 1000.4 Eastern Arc Lnbf on Amazon and installed it on the dish I am using. Roy The 1000.4 lnbf is larger than the 1000.2 lnbf and will not work correctly on the 1000.2 reflector, which is a smaller reflector. Everybody wanna hear the truth, but everybody tell a lie.
