BigTexRex Posted June 30, 2016 Report Share Posted June 30, 2016 Wash times vary quite a bit. It all depends on what setting you use--from almost 2 hours to less than 30 minutes. We normally use setting "4" which is one hour. Dry time for a full dryer is 1 hour--remember the dryer is operating on 120 volts and not 220 like a household one. We've been full-timing for 2.5 years and our Splendide set has been great. Especially since my wife REALLY uses the heck out of the them. roger&debbie Posted June 30, 2016 Report Share Posted June 30, 2016 We use ours on the 30 minute cycle and COLD wash almost exclusively. Of course you will need to do smaller loads. If you ACCIDENTLY overload or the load gets extremely off balance your machine may not finish the cycle. If that happens... simply unload your clothes let the washer run on an empty load then put back your more balanced load (this will most likely be a smaller load). With the dryer KEEP THE LINT SCREEN CLEAN!! Clean before each load and you won'the forget... kind of like loading laundry detergent before wash. I have also found a clean dry towel added to the dryer dries your load quicker (yes it will become damp and need to dry also... but it WORKS)!
