Yarome
Why not give Blyth parks department a call and ask? 760-922-6611

LindaH
We drove by the city park the other day to check on the water situation. While the signs have been taken down, giving us hope that the water was once again available, we discovered, upon closer inspection, that all the knobs to turn the water on and off were gone. And not just the knobs, but the *stems,* too, so that one couldn't use a pair of pliers to turn the water on. Yarome
And not just the knobs, but the *stems,* So they have permanently decommissioned city park water?? That's going to sting more than a few folks. Did you happen to speak to the parks department folks?
LindaH
No, we didn't speak to anyone. However, the signs up last year mentioned a state law due to the drought, so I'm assuming that it's still in effect. There is water available in Ehrenberg, however, at the MiniMart (Google Maps calls it the E-Z Mart). The Days End says it's $1, but I'm pretty sure the host at the Midland LTVA said it was $2. We haven't been by to confirm There's also a dump there for $10 according to the Days End, but the price for the dump in Blythe is less, although it doesn't have drinking water available.
