SOLO NODE - DISH HOPPER?

Recommended Posts

I am considering buying a hopper to replace the VIP722 I currently have that belongs to DISH and only want it connected to my main TV in the fifth wheel. Do I still need a Solo Node if connecting to only one TV? If yes, no problem, just need to know if should purchase one. Thanks.

I have two ports on the LNB connected to a Solo node at the dish, and the third port connected to a single coax. When we're using the Hopper, we connect the coax to the coach to the node, and when we use our VIP211K, we use the single port connection. When we want to use both receivers at the same time, we run two cables, one to each receiver.
