  1. Hi, I am not sure if anyone else has asked the question about travel from Canada to US by land for the un-vx'd. I am wanting to take my 5th wheel and go from Alberta into Montana very soon and I was wondering if anyone on here has gone across the border with their rig and NOT been vx'd. Any issues getting across the border? And if you did go, what border crossing did you use? Thanks in advance, Rick
  2. Because these units are very simple and inexpensive, they use a cap tube to regulate flow. Yes, it does sound as though it is LOW on refrigerant. Size doesn't matter to a good refrigeration mechanic and I am sure that most of the Camping World locations who service RV equipment should be able to repair this unit. However, I doubt that the expense of a repair will be less than the price of a new unit. These babies are basically more of our disposable appliances from China.

  4. don't believe everything a dealer tells you. Sometimes they just want a sale and maybe he doesn't understand why a slide hitch is so important with a short box. Yes, anything less than 8 feet is considered a short box. Go get a slider, it might save your front air dam on the trailer and a bad dent in your cab, or worse.
  5. Finally. It seemed to take forever to get to the camping season. Between May 1st and June 6th, we have managed to get out camping in the mountains 4 weekends. About time!
