This was a Great short trip report. We travel South Of the Border 3 out of 5 winters. We too were at the park in San Carlos but continued further South into Mexico this winter. This year was a tough year to drive Mex15 because of the road repairs but the future is promising. Traffic in the big cities in Mexico is ALWAYS tough but the drivers are excellent. We never worry about the car horns as it is the Mexican driver's way of telling you they see you and they want you to know where they are. Do try going down the center of Mexico to some of the areas & cities in the highlands. Winter weather is in the mid 70s and dry (except when there is an El Nino). Again enjoyed the trip report very much. Jump over to RVdotNet and enjoy the Traveling in Mexico and South America forum.
