  1. Not a single problem. There was a little confusion as to whether a Kansas class 'B' was equivalent to a Texas class 'B', this was resolved with a phone call. We're now holders of Texas tags and DLs.

  2. Mike,

Did you have any problems with the drivers license process? We're finally leaving on Sunday to come down, hope to get our Texas licenses on Tuesday...

    Bill

  3. You guys still in Rainbow Park? We'll be there in about four hours or so. Looking forward to meeting you and picking your brain for tips on getting the tags and DLs.

  4. We are heading out today for Livingston and will be there Monday or Tuesday, will be stopping in Oklahoma City to visit son and his girlfriend then probably stop at Ft. Hood for the night. Look us up and say howdy.

  5. Today I hope to have the Suzuki loaded on the trailer so I can determine the correct position for the motorcycle chock. I'm a bit worried about the ramp I purchased, the manufacturer claims it will hold 1500# but I have my doubts. Will see what today brings...

      The motorcycle ramp that is.

  6. Hey guys, I left a post to you on the class of 2012. I can be contacted through my email: dakraut@live.com. I have also added you to my friends list. If you manage to get to Eureka before we leave and you would like to meet us there is a nice campground right next to US101 at the northern end of Eureka.

  7. Hey Jim & Judy, thought i'd stop by and say hi. My name is Mike and my wife is Pat. I retired from the US Army back in 1990 and went to work for the US Air Force as a QA Representative at Boeing. Pat retired last year from Teaching with 28 years.

So welcome home Sailor and come on over and join the class of 2012. We can be found in the Graduating to Fulltime thread.

  8. For Veterans already in the system there is: https://www.myhealth.va.gov/index.html
  9. Sorry about the delay but I've been trying to get everything ready for our graduation to full time.

    Mike

  10. Hey, loved your blog. We are of like minds in the political arena although I've been called a conservative liberal but prefer liberal conservative.

    Mike

  11. I have an appointment with the urology department at the VA medical center in KC Thursday and then having some work done on the house. After that we will be heading down to Livingston for new tags and DLs. Probably be back this way by the middle of march. Hope to meet you soon.

  12. Like wise. If you find yourself up here stop by. We're headed out west Wednesday for a while, but by the middle of march we'll be here most of the summer. We own the dairy queen and will be here helping our daughter during the busy months.

  13. Hey neighbor. Up there in the pretty country of Kansas. If you're ever down here in the Wichita area give me a holler. dakraut@live.com

Good to hear from a brother.

We are currently in Washington State, for a long healing process (someone fell out of the coach on her back, from the top step), now we are modifying the rig to accomidate the problem.

I have been in the Legion for just a short time and as of yet haven't joined a post. As we travel I find local posts and stop by.

If your ever in the sout...

  15. Another Army grunt type. Welcome to Escapees.
