  1. The Ranch in Lakewood, NM (between Carlsbad and Artesia) started to open on 1 February but the New Mexico Governor posed restrictions which limited access to our park. But, now we can open on a limited basis (25 percent of available rental spots). If you're a daily or weekly renter, laundry facilities are not available, but if you're renting for two weeks or more it will be available to you after that restricted time. The Ranch does not take reservations, so call ahead to check availability--575.457.2303. We hope conditions will improve so we can offer even more rental spots and unrestricted access to our facilities.

  3. Well, we thought we were opening, but due to the constant changing rules in New Mexico the SKP Ranch has postponed opening to renters.
  4. The SKP Ranch in Lakewood NM has been closed to visitors, but will reopen starting 1 Feb. New Mexico state rules concerning Covid restrictions and isolating still apply. Because these guidelines change regularly, please visit the New Mexico health site for more information. https://cv.nmhealth.org/travel-recommendations/
  5. Ultimately, for most of us, we can only vote by where we spend our money. I understand because there are companies I won't buy from, but I find Andersen RV products innovative. Very few other companies seem to be willing to invest in research and development and I, for one, will continue to buy their products.
  6. This is what we bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JJZ1AZG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  7. We've bought two of these and love them: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JJZ1AZG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Kirk,

If you want, I may be able to help locate the water system, in Water Watch, if you let me know what RV park you want to check.

  9. Did you consider a Blackstone first?
  10. Look into a commercial Karndean tile, that's what we used and are very happy with it. As far as I know, we are the only ones in the RV world that has used this tile. Only the outside tiles have to be glued...all the rest will lay flat and can be replaced, if needed, by picking it up and laying a new piece down. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it. It is one tough tile. We have full-timed with it for three years and there are no marks or worn spots.
  11. Thank you for the information. As mentioned by David1941, the California Olive Oi Council (COOC) tests and certifies California Olive Oil and it's some of the best. Here is a link. https://www.cooc.com
  12. We have a Shark Rocket and love it.
  13. I enjoyed reading his posts of his everyday RV life. He will be missed.
  14. Thank you for the information...sounds like a nice place. Hopefully we meet up sometime. Rex
