boondocking in Mesquite

Its been several years since I overnighted in Mesquite, but most of the Casinos there allowed overnighting in their large parking lots. Some had designated areas for RV parking. Some had security staff in the lot, that would direct you to the proper area.

One of the Casinos, I don't remember the name, had their own RV Park, so they preferred you use their pay campground.

I usually only stayed a nite or 2 when passing through, so it wasn't a spot I looked for dumps. I heard from others who stayed long term there was a pay $$ dump station at the Virgin Food Mart north of town near the McDonalds. But that was 5 yrs ago.

The Day's End has no listing for a dump in Mesquite. If anyone knows of one, or finds one, let Guy Gipson know so that he can include it in the listings.

To the OP: You can check with some of the RV parks in the area to see if they have a dump, or will allow you to dump. For a fee, of course.

Hello Sue7,

Both Campendium and FreeCampSites list the CasaBlanca casino as a free ivernight stop:

https://www.campendium.com/casa-blanca-resort-casino

https://freecampsites.net/#!7510&query=sitedetails

Additionally, Campendium also lists the local WalMart:

https://www.campendium.com/walmart

As for dump stations, Campendium lists the Rebel Gas Station for $7:

Hope that helps.

If you can, please come back later and tell us how it went.

Cheers,

We always boondock one overnight at least once a year since 1999 in the car park of either the Casa Blanca (Salmon Pink One) on right when we are headed N on I15 or on the opposite side further towards St George at the Virgin River (hubby who's easily pleased with food likes their buffet, me not so much FWIW) dumped at the gas station near there once.

Sanidumps as per #6 poster link provided and also try Casino Camper. Find Mesquite a great overnight stop when travelling enroute South or back home North. It's not a free campsite for us as we do spend some dollars in their establishments = probably one of the highest priced CG's we ever stay at (LOL).

There's also some land around there, but you need a pass/pay small fee (outside of town) that I've heard referenced folks stay on = probably detailed in freecampsites.net

The only dump station I know of in Mesquite is the one already mentioned, but there is also one in Littlefield, AZ (maybe 15 minutes away NE up 15) that is free. It's at the 76 gas station... if you're headed that way and your tanks can cross their legs while you're in town that is. They don't have water there, but thought it might be worth mentioning for others that might be passing through.
