2. Considering the cost of a steel bed, some new-comers to this HDT choice might be interested in a deck that allows under-bed storage for cargo, and tools, as well as a generator. Also easily adaptable to changes like installing a motorcycle mount. This bed it plywood that has a fibreglass veneer, it’s generally called deck-ply. The bed cost with under-bed storage boxes was under $600.00
3. I will add that yes it is on the crossmember aft of the tranny, use a magnet to reset. The magnet when placed on the reset pad, with the ignition ON. will initiate the reset sequence. There will be a random flurry of coloured lights during the reset. Then shut off the ignition and then turn it back on, it should now not show an ABS light on the dash. Sometimes to get it to shut off you need to drive over 30 mph for a few minutes so the A S. controller “sees” the wheel sensors are functioning correctly. If not, you have a Bad sensor and the ABS controller will be showing which one.
4. Here we are in Bowling Green, Florida, beautiful coop type park, lots of park models, but there are open RV sites that do come up for rent.
5. I use my cab heater a couple weeks in a year basically. The filter I use is a small, Amazon available in-line 5/16" type. Its not a paper element but a granulated brass type. Works for me. The wiring on mine needed changing after 10 years or so, it was a marginal guage, went with stranded #8 to the heater, runs much better.
6. Hey, I have bought those Bosch primers on E-Bay for $25.00 Get 1 and see, it could be that simple. I have solved similar problem on my own D12 with a primer swap. Rick
7. We'll be there, at the Tampa RV Show on Jan.18-19 Truck only, kinda fun using it as a stand alone RV. That's why many of us decided to go the HDT route, to have that useability. Sounds like it will be a gathering again. Rick
