Mariner
Could someone remind me how to post those large pics I see when someone has something to sell. Fulltiming since 2010 2000 Dutch Star 2009 Saturn Vue Myrtle Beach, SC
Kirk W
The best way to post pictures on any forum is to store them at one of the free picture storage services online and then use a link to post them via the icon at the top of the post editor. That icon is about the center and directly above the area where you type and the preferred format of picture is jpg. I'd suggest that you use moderately sized pictures as some folks that have limited internet will avoid the very large ones due to the issue of downloading them and if you want lager ones, just insert a link to them and those who wish can then look at the expanded version as well. hdonlybob
Agree with Kirk, This is an awesome site, but loading pictures on here is not one of it's finest attributes. I use Picture Trail. skp51443
Photobucket works well, haven't tried Picture Trail. Photobucket forum use: open photobucket and select picture right-click the image and open in new tab Copy the URL up to the ?=00000 part On the forum click the little tree icon, image tool-tip and paste the URL in the pop-up First rule of computer consulting: Sell a customer a Linux computer and you'll eat for a day. Mariner
Thank you. I'll try photobucket. We're going to be doing some overseas travel, so it's time to sell our Dutch Star.
