RV_
From Military.com: "Congress is seeking to reform military health coverage. The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) needs all TRICARE beneficiaries to help by filling out a 5-10 minute survey at http://www.moaa.org/Content/Take-Action/Top-Issues/Top-Issues.aspx " Happy Thanks(and Things)-giving RV/Derekhttp://www.rvroadie.com Email on the bottom of my website page.Retired AF 1971-1998 When you see a worthy man, endeavor to emulate him. remoandiris
IMO several questions are poorly worded and vague. Not a good survey.
RV_
I hear ya Remo. It might help, the MOAA has the best interests of active, reserve on drill, activated reserve, retired, and medically retired vets at heart. Maybe they will get it from feedback. Thanks for jumping in. RV/Derekhttp://www.rvroadie.com Email on the bottom of my website page.Retired AF 1971-1998 When you see a worthy man, endeavor to emulate him. remoandiris
I got to page 5 (I think) when the questions got into satisfaction with appointments. I am VERY satisfied with my ability to get appointments. But, I use a civilian PCM. Is that what the MOAA wants? Or do they want more access at MTFs? Not knowing their motivation could end up hurting them (and us) in the end.
Chris-n-Dennis
Believe if there has to be changes then the changes should be something evolved in - similar to what they did with the GI Bill for education. When they sign up they know going in what they may get on the other end. Messing with are existing benefits is dishonorable to say the least. AlCherry
I closed the survey by saying that when I was inducted, I was promised lifetime healthcare through the VA free of charge. This was whether I stayed for my 2 year stretch or 20 years. Good luck getting into the VA. As a retiree, my right has been turned into a paid privilege, changing at the whim of the government. 2008 Ford F350 PowerStroke DRW2006 Raptor 38132007 Harley Davidson ElectraGlide Classic 2010 Harley Davidson Tri-Glide Ultra ClassicStreet/Strip Harley Sportster RacebikeSFC (ret) US Army

Ray,IN
I got halfway through the survey and left the website. RV_
Ahh, That is what we have here at Barksdale AFB. I use them for scripts only, I am Tricare standard still so I can choose my docs, and go to specialists that will not take Prime. I answer the MTF questions from that point of view but good point. I used them on the road whenever possible, any branch's base or post, as well as VA treatment. I just don't like going blind to a doc in a strange place. I got that in Soldotna Alaska when I got bitten by a white sock gnat and my whole arm swelled. That doc was from Colombia and was the only doc in Soldotna, about halfway down the Kenai Peninsula. For local bites that local doc took one look and had an accurate Dx.
