  1. Here is what I get from the above link. I also agree you are limiting your advertising exposure by only using one platform.
  2. We are at Dubois Rest Area tonight. See you tomorrow.
  3. No problem if you are hauling an RV. Last time we were going from Banff to Jasper there was a booth and needed a pass. Also, stayed in parking lot at Columbia Ice Fields for the night which was $10.00 in metric money.
  4. With all the new trucks using DEF I wouldn't worry about it. Like Darryl mentioned where there is fuel there is DEF. A full DEF tank will get you a long ways.
  5. I think the thing you would have to discuss is your intended use. Are you going full time, part time or weekender/holidays? The reason we went from a MDT to a HDT years ago was to be able to handle the weight of the larger trailers and have the the extra power and braking safety that they provide. That also comes with the ability to haul jeeps/cars/SxS's/motorcycles etc and not worry about weight restrictions. Many in the group here optimize the advantage of owning a HDT. It seems to me almost anywhere you can fit a 36ft RV and HDT you usually will fit a 45ft RV and HDT. The one other thing that isn't mentioned as much is the comfort in driving and riding in a vehicle that isn't bucking you around. My wife has neck and back problems and could only travel maybe 4hrs a day with the one ton dually but in the HDT with some very good seats a 8hr day is no problem. If, you are worried about length don't need the hauling capacity or braking ability then go with a LDT and shorter trailer. Back to the intended use and maybe future plans as a HDT is a great way to future proof maybe going to a larger RV. Rick & Carey
  6. It was so nice meeting you and Mary at the WCR a few years ago. Carey says to pass on a hello to Mary. When we were in your trailer we had commented that it was one of the nicest we had seen. Have fun fishing out there. Your Canadian friends. Rick & Carey
  7. Hi Dennis, I installed L-track to the floor below the dinette seats and just attach L-track seat belts when I need then. Had pictures but could not find them.
  8. Wow that didn't take long.... Thanks for all your hard work putting the rally together Chad.
  9. Just put 1/2 tank of fuel in for long weekend in Canada. $990.00 😳
  10. Sticky pads with bait. Mouse traps with peanut butter. Mouse poison packs. Brass wool to plug all opening (can't chew through it). Don't use steel wool will rust.
  11. We were very fortunate to meet and socialize with Scott at few WCR's. So sorry to hear about this our condolences to his family. https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-loving-memory-of-scott-almquist
