Wishful thinking on our part. We could not find any that fit our batteries. We had 3-4 samples from different mfgs. and none would fit. Very frustrating. Our batteries are 3 year batteries, we will begin looking for replacement batteries next year with our box of samples so can eliminate some to start out with. Want to switch to 6v also. We spend the winter in Phoenix and have heard of a golf cart guy who sells the Trojans at a very good price, if a sample fits and his prices are as good as we have heard we will go with the Trojans. We will start monitoring the batteries closely next year. Thanks

Trojan or Costco/Sams Club golf cart batteries???

 

Over the last 6-8 years I have seen a number of discussions about this topic.

 

Bottom line:

-- For the increased cost of Trojan's do you truly believe they will last 50% or 100% years longer to justify the cost?

-- If something goes wrong, or you unintentionally do something wrong to damage the batteries, you are out the extra money.

 

Not worth the extra cost, in my opinion. Kind of like buying a Cadillac instead of a Chevy for transportation. They both get you there in pretty good comfort.

Agree about the cost. If we get a slideout tray built this is a mute point, any 6 volt will do. If we don't get a tray built we know the watering systems fit the Trojan and would need to check at the time if the system fits the Sams/Costco ones.

Mine fit the SAMs club batteries.

Yes, they fit Sams at that moment in time. I will double check to see if they fit when we are ready to buy.
