  1. I prefer to post the photo in a separate photo album, like www.imgur.com, then use the link. (
  2. I am with Auto Owners insurance. For my home, cars, RV and the Big Truck. When our truck was hit by lightning (2022), they not only paid for the HDT tow to a Volvo dealer 30 miles away, but also paid for the repairs to the truck totaling almost $70,000. They not only renewed me (twice), with only a small market increase in the premium since then, but did not require me to change the $100 deductible. As a side note, in the fall of 2022 my wife hit a deer with her car adding another $7500 claim to our policy that year and they still didn't cancel us.

When I was abducted by aliens, they gave me the solution to cold fusion and artificial gravity. Then we started drinking tequila and I kinda forgot what they said...

The 5.7L GM diesel was based off the Oldsmobile gas engine block - Fact. They even marketed a smaller 4.3 (260") V8 and 4.3 (262") V6 version also off the gas engines.
  6. Finally making a stand for your pedestal grinder? (Laying on it's side)
  7. Alway glad to speak to new people. Come look us up in site 302! (Larry & Julie)
  8. I did my truck at 48". This was a huge mistake. My Momentum Toy Hauler is more like 52-54". I wound up needed to extend and modify the pin box on the trailer to get it to ride level. I'd highly suggest measuring your pin height at level to see what you really need.
  9. Our home is slightly smaller (about 3000') and I would not even consider an LP generator without adding a 2nd 1000G propane tank in our situation. My research has pushed me toward a 20KW size unit and they burn approximately 2.5 GPH of propane. That's 60 gallons per day. If it kicks in, mid winter when your 1000 (800 usable) tank is half full, that's less than a weeks run time, factoring in LP usage for heat, hot water, cooking, etc. If I had GeorgiaHybrid's money (first off, I'd just burn mine) but I would definitely go with a big diesel tank and Genny per his suggestion....
  10. I've thought about this. But the idea or running my Kubota at PTO speed for days or longer is not something I want to do. I may consider it as supplemental power if needed, but not as a whole house gen-set.
  11. As I put on Facebook, this is a video of my old Carbon 364 on my ET senior. It's also a 16k gross trailer, but it was between 3000 and 3500 pin weight. As I mentioned on Facebook I would suggest confirming that 2200 pound pin weight. That's only 12% of a 16k trailer and even for a poorly designed RV, that is really light.

If you can pee enough gallonage to make a difference, go for it bud...
