  1. Interesting article. https://www.thervgeeks.com/andersen-hitches/?utm_source=rvgeeks-newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=andersen_hitches_rv_pet_fences&utm_term=2023-06-30
  2. Due to unfortunate circumstances with my tow vehicle, need to have my RV towed from Wylie, TX to San Leon, TX. Does anyone know of a company I can contact?
  3. Update - I called Explorer RV Insurance today. They are no longer writing personal RV policies and are now focusing on the commercial non-RV market.
  4. All of the hoarding is interesting but more interesting is there are plenty of toilet cleaning supplies and brushes available. I guess no one is planning to clean their toilet until they use up there 144 rolls of TP.
  5. When I click the Foremost Insurance link and enter 77399 as my zip code several local (to Livingston) agents are listed. Has anyone dealt with a local Livingston agent they would recommend? Thanks
  6. You could stay at the Winstar RV park just before the Texas border. Safe and secure.
  7. Park appears to be closed. http://www.campgroundreviews.com/regions/texas/gainesville/gainesville-factory-outlet-mall-closed-6204
  8. Bought my B&W Companion 20K hitch from Discount Hitch in Arlington, TX today. Fair price, install was good, and nice folks. They know what they are doing. Total confidence in my purchase. Thanks for the feedback.
  9. I’m in the Dallas area and need to buy a fifth wheel hitch and have it installed on my 2017 F250 Super Duty. Does anyone have a suggestion of a reasonable and reliable dealer or shop to get this done. Google has not been the finest approach thus far. Couple of places quoted me MSRP for the hitch and six hours of labor. Think that is a little high. This would be a standard, rail mounted hitch. Per Lippert, I’m not looking for a adapter type hitch.
  10. Corelle, heavy duty paper plates, and china can survive in a cabinet just stacked. But, most important, is real glass for bourbon. A 10 oz rambler can work if the park event is too long and it's too far to go back to the site for refills.
  11. I very recently purchased a Jayco 28.5RSTS fifth wheel. Now, I really need a truck. I've settled on a Ford F250 but do I need a long or short bed to tow and park it? Let me add that all I have ever towed is a boat. No fifth wheel towing experience at all. Getting older and may need to park the truck in a parking garage occasionally. Any thoughts appreciated.
  12. The RV Geeks have a video of their purchase from the Mattress Insider. Will probably try them for our next mattress.
  13. Well, I wanted something to do that was different and fun. We drove to Las Vegas and I enrolled in dealing school in August. Been working as a blackjack dealer (mostly part-time) at a very local (small) casino since mid-September. Will do this for a bit until I come up with a new and more entertaining challenge. One of the dealer at this casino is 85 years young. He doesn't work on Monday or Thursday once the summer heat is gone. Why? It interfere's with his golf game.
  14. I posted about your meter.  Does it work ok? I would like to buy it if it works as it should.  Send me some contact info  my email is jimwaters4@gmail.com
