Smitty77_7
Depends upon the specific year and model, but 4 Runners with modifications, can be a great toad. If the link comes thru, the 2014 4 Runner that was on my short list, could be towed 4 down. (Same with the FJ) We ended up holing off on replacing our CRV until I reach 65 and get a raise from my share of our higher, now X's 4, of our Health Care costs come down:)! I liked the approach/departure and quality of the 4 Runners, though I admit that I felt the exterior design looked bloated - but the is always a matter of opinion. And I would take quality and functionality over exterior design... May be worth a bit more investigation, if you felt the 4 Runner met your needs, Smitty http://www.remcoindustries.com/Towing/Store.php Be safe, have fun, Smitty 04 CC Allure "RooII" - Our "E" ride for life! brunsje
I would opt for a Full Size truck. Not much heavier and more roomy. My Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 is super easy to shift the transfer case to Neutral, takes about 1 minute!
