kountryguy1
I am hoping someone can recommend a park somewhere in South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho or Montana that has reasonable monthly rates and somewhat desirable temperatures. Any suggestions will be welcomed.
Kirk W
Custer is a pretty centrally located area for a base and they have many RV parks. If you visit RV Park Reviews you can get a feel for what others have reported on them. There are some 84 RV parks listed in that general area but many of them do not have a monthly rate during tourist season. Most of the busy tourist areas do not discount their parks much during the busy season, so where ever you choose to go, be sure that you verify monthly rates before you go there. What we did when we spent the summer in the Black Hills was to work as campground hosts in a state park and so received a free site. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... LFDR3116
rvparkreviews.com will allow you to look up any state and city. You will then find reviews for the parks in the area. There is usually a connection to their website where many will have their rates, sometimes also showing specials and the monthly rates. On the left side will show you cities also in the area and how far away they are. If you click on them you will see the parks in that city with the reviews. Very helpful in finding parks. Phone #'s usually there to call them if their website does not give you enough information. Sometimes you won't see a "rate" tab, but the "reservation" tab will have the rate information that you can see prior to making any reservations. bobsallyh
In Island Park, ID. there are several RV parks that have monthly rates. We are in one now, across from Henry's Lake, known world wide for fishing, and also 13 miles from the west gate of Yellowstone National Park. You WILL NOT get hot here!
