  1. Heading out of Parowan, Utah, heading for Missoula, Montana. We are going to pick up a new Toyhauler with the maiden voyage of the new bed.
  2. Setting at SeaTac airport, heading to Kalispell, MT to finalize our purchase of a new Toyhauler....
  3. Does anyone have a link to a Webasto manual for a Volvo factory installed heater, vintage 2008? When we try to fire ours up, the fan starts and we get a beep and blinking light. We found on another forum, someone stated that the blinking light is a fault code, but we can’t find a manual anywhere online so far.
  4. VegasFlyer Vegas teacher told me I ought to message you i hope it's all right. If not just ignore. But my question is I'm in 'California have to stay another 4 years and have a CDL so I'm kinda stuck. I'm wanting to single a 630 that i don't have yet and make a HDT out of. I figured I had 4 years. I don't think i can register it in Cali. Even single it would have a gvw of 32.5k and its my understanding that 26k is the cut off for non commercial use. You seem very knowledgeable about these things and I think unless I find out different my plan B is to register in Nevada and never bring into Cali it would be a pain but would only be 3 years and I thought I could keep it up at Pahrump at a storage lot or Escapees park. Do you know how I could register in Nevada I suppose I need a address is that all? Private truck? and would you happen to know what Nevada highway patrol would say if I'm stopped with California License. The truck wouldn't have Fifth wheel and air lines at first just slick back and single axle. I don't want to take up to much of your time but If you have any opinions I would love to hear them. I have a plan c and d but there even more trouble. I've read a lot of what you've written and will search again. I eventually will retire and domicile in South Dakota Thanks for any input Ron Monical

  5. I believe there is a check valve on the front of the engine, at the top, that has caused problems for folks. We have a D13 engine, though I remember reading about the D12 issue. You might look on YouTube, as well as the Resource Guide on this site.

With a Volvo 780, the weight of your foot can also greatly reflect a big change to the mpg readings.

As discussed in another recent thread, the leveling link has been upgraded to a new, superior design that will completely eliminate the play and weak link of the leveling system for the rear suspension.
  8. John,

Did Corry really drive that damn thing to L A and seems to be proud he did........

Tell me he is just trolling and is very odd in the way he jokes with people?

His post about driving the "Orange Thing" to Kansas for Christmas seems to really indicate someone that is seriously unhinged?

In aircraft accident investigations the one thing that never ceased to amaze me was where the fatal accidents where the pilot had a CERTAIN destiny with the crash and worked hard to make a date with eternity......

I have the old gnawing feeling in my gut that this guy just might be the guy that cuts the school buss in half and brings the HDT RV gig to a abrupt ending.........

Big5er has stated that some day some HDT RV accident might get the public  attention and then all hell will come crashing down on the HDT RV gig.

Maybe I have this guy all wrong and if so please tell me so........but from what I hear from him he just seems like a real time-bomb that is just trying to find a highly populated section of freeway to explode.......

We are back in Pahrump so if you get a moment of free time feel free to call my cell at (520) 891-3695.

    Best regards,

    Mike McDaniel

  9. John'

    Mike McDaniel (Dollytrolley) here.

Hopes this finds you and your bride well.

The other day I had to sort through a bunch of old image while working on my mother inlaws financial exploitation case and came across a bunch of images of the Evergreen SuperTanker project .....some interior as well as some inflight shots from some water deployments over Mariana AZ .........I was conducting some experimental testing on a concept design that was not good but FAA had my test-box tight so the SuperTanker were in the same box so I shot a few shots from above.

Some friends have mixed emotions about the demise of Evergreen so, if you do not desire to have any of the images I respect that and will close the subject. I had limited involvement in some tiny details of the SuperTanker and did a little Crane Main Rotor Shaft and Gearbox component work some time ago........mostly through McClenahan Engineering / Reno (FAA /DER/DAR Structures)......

If you would like the images I could gather them up from my archives and load them on a thumb drive and perhaps we could have some Mex food when we get down to Last Chance Peak from Bend or Rainier in a few weeks.

If you want to  chat feel free to call my cell:  (520) 891-3695

    Best regards,

    Mike
