  1. Wasn't one of the issues with the FS composting toilets is they were too labor intensive for staffing levels? Plus variables like some not getting used enough and others too much for the way they operated.
  2. I don't have near the experience Chad does but I put my panels on a few days after 9/11/2001 into the plywood then sealed with the self leveling caulk appropriate for my trailer (97Sunnybrook TT) and never had an issue. I believe my plywood substructure is 5/8 plywood. No problems with the mount yet. I wish everything else held up that well including my body and brain.
  3. you know this is a trick question๐Ÿ™ƒ
  4. Has anyone mentioned that gfi likely has an outside outlet on it. On recommendation of an electrician friend I just helped a neighbor that had a gfi issue by killing all power to the trailer then hitting the reset. When we turned the power back on it reset at that point.
  5. I will let someone better at explaining tell you what to do but the answer is almost unequivically yes. Most likely will involve a good bit of water and bleach or another chemical and several fillings and drainings at a minimum. How soon you get a definitive answer will depend on how soon some of the others read your post.
  6. I have been in 2 situations where i could not get service to call my tow company. So be prepared to deal with emergencies the best you can just in case. Also I would not hesitate to call my service but would not ride a good horse to death as they say since I volunteered with someone once that used theirs so much that the company refused to renew them. I don't know the details but I do know they had a pretty good size motorhome.
  7. Most are not going to be as quick or as seamless as their advetising but I would unequivially recommend Coach net. I had 2 major tows, 1 tire change and 1 lock out of my new to me pick up over about 20 or so years and the end result was what I wanted But not totally seamless.
  8. Thats what I thought. and a house sure costs way more than an RV. I think new houses should care some type of warranty longer than one year on a house.
  9. I remember buying one of very few new vehicles I ever bought. It was I think one of the most basic F100's out there I think about 1980. What ever time it was, that year and several years around that time frame they had a 12 month -12,000 mile warranty. I had one major issue right in front of a Ford dealer with the clutch just about 100 miles before the warranty ran out. They fixed it and had no more issues for over 100,000 miles when I sold it for a heavier truck. How much warranty does a new sticks and bricks have. What if your builder ends up declaring bancrupty after you take possession? I think that has happened with a good number of rv mfg. over the years. But I do think there should be a better warranty rv's and a good number of other items.
  10. Been way too long for me to suggest someone but I wonder if there is some business listed as a commercial member for escapees.
  11. Will be 76 in Oct and this mirrors my sentiments exactly. Linda needs to set the parameters of the younger folks.๐Ÿ˜€
