We will be in the Overton/Logandale area in the next few days (March 17-20) and would like to partner up with other off-roaders to explore trails around there. We are planning on boondocking at Stewarts Point. Feel free to message us. Recommendations are appreciated!

Marianne and Nick,

If you're not already a member you might want to consider joining the RVillage. It is basically a group that addresses the question about who is where and what are you interested in. I'm new there too so not exactly how well it works but it looks interesting. Happy Trails, Dennis

Not going to be in the area, but be sure to get to Lake Mead and see the now visible town of St Thomas that was covered when the lake was filled after the completion of Hoover Dam.

Where would we find it? We spend at least a week or more boondocking at Lake Mead twice a year and would be interested in something like this. Unfortunately, we left the area this past Friday, so it'll have to wait until this fall when we head back south for the winter.

We are going to be in Overton on friday. We have done some riding in that area last fall and had fun. We rode south of the Logandale system but not actually in the Logandale off road area. It looks like fun though.

We are using a RZR however....a little different.

<p>....JIM and LINDA......2001 American Eagle 40 '.towing a GMC Sierra 1500 4X4 with RZR in the rear. 1999 JEEP Cherokee that we tow as well.

IT IS A CONTENTED MAN WHO CAN APPRECIATE THE SCENERY ALONG A DETOUR.

Nevermind, I found it: http://www.lasvegassun.com/features/finding-nevada/2013/sep/15/st-thomas-high-and-dry-ghost-town/

It's a 3.5 mile drive on a dirt road and then a 2.5 mile loop walk down to the town site. Depending on the condition of the road, we may go next fall.

Yes, we are members of RVillage but have not had a chance to look it over until recently. So far, RVillage seems to be a great resource to find others of like mind and interests. We highly recommend it.

Thank you for this link. We will add it to our bucket list. We changed our plans yesterday and we are heading back to our home base in Santa Cruz for a few weeks to take care of family matters. Won't be long before we are on the road again, however.
