American Roatrip
Thanks, we'll check that area out when we're in La. Here is where we stayed out there. Namon, the manager was so nice and helpful we sent him a gift basket after we left. It's a nice little town, nothing fancy, but on the streetthe rv park is on you will see a couple of campers on private land. I think there is actually some land for sale, but a, not 100 percent sure. http://bayoudarbonnecamp.net pavlovamericanroadtrip.blogspot.com
Ultra glide
We have a couple acres in the Midwest in a county that has no zoning or building codes. We built a garage with a full bath plus washer and dryer and had a large cement pad poured along with installed utilities. We go through that area a couple of times a year to visit family. There is mowing that has to be done so we hire someone for the season for that. We winterize the water lines much as we would an RV and so far so good. No break in either and we have had this set up for about 7 years. If the world situation goes bad, we have a place to park though it would be cold in winter. It does seem like many municipalities have zoning forbidding parking of RVs on private property.
