  1. I for one have had an excellent experience with Banks and proudly display their logo right under the F550 badges on the side of my truck. I elected to only have them install the exhaust brake and for that I will be forever grateful. Of course I w as only about an hour from Azusa, Ca where they did my install while I waited. With the exhaust brake I can now decend hills comfortably pulling my 20,000 # trailer.
  2. Was it always like this or did this problem just start ?
  3. I find it unbelievable, but apparently so, that no one addressed the posters question. If I were in good health, I would be one to be asking more questions. I think I would want to have a flexible departure date from maybe, lets say, Rocky Point. Not knowing what to expect, only what I've heard, i think i would like to stay a month or longer and decide as the days go on. I'm a lover of South of the Border (not the business) and the culture but was always considering the safety there. Anytime I see a guard outside a business, like a bank building with an assault rifle slung over their shoulder it gives me reason to question safety. My DW wanted to go for years but I was reluctant and now when its no longer possible I regret my decision.
  4. I cringe at the thought of talking to Direct. I had them for many, many years but toward the end for a couple years it was just not fun anymore talking to them. We we left a region I had to call them to change locations so i could get local channels. First thing I did when we left fulltiming was to switch to Dish Network. I'm more than happy with Dish. Dish is far superior with their equipment and services. After the first 2 years I recieved my first " non discounted " bill. I called and they switched me back to my original monthly billing for another 2 years after signing up for another 2 years with them. Hate Direct and love Dish Network.
  5. Believe me, I know, hire someone else to do the job.
  6. For those that might be interested New Mexico just legalized pot sales in April of this year. The first month sales were $39 million with a tax revenue to the state of $2.4 million. Last month, July, sales were about the same. If this continues, that equates to $28,800,000 in new tax collected for the state. Thats right, almost 29 million dollars.
  7. I did the same as you and got a good deal on a dome. Then searched for the best price on a receiver with remote. Bought a 50ft cable to connect and called Dish to set up. Phone Number came with the Wally and was surprised how little the extra cost was with my existing account. Extremely easy to use and should have done it years ago instead of fighting with my metal dish on a tripod. Only problem I found is with the dome I got only one TV can be hooked up to it, Our second TV now uses the antenna on the roof for stations available.
  8. Since you are planning on taking the trailer with you right after the Pre Delivery Inspection what are you going to do if something doesn't work, like maybe the water heater or the water pump, etc. Make sure everything works, everything. Take your time , this should take hours. They will want to rush this but dont let them. You're the boss right now. I would have told them that you expect NO rust on this trailer before the PDI. Let them take care of it now before you pick it up. Like others have said, once you leave their lot you will be very lucky for any action on ANYTHING thereafter, When i saw the rust in your pictures I can see your concern. Something isnt quite right.
  9. Maybe these washers and dryers are powered by Tesla Batteries and RV's stock price will go up and up and up.....I for one will be glad when there is more of a choice for EV's.
  10. The roadway repair revenue will have to come from somewhere and the electric car market will certainly be involved.
  11. Sorry, I can't remember the name of the sofa but it was purchased at American Home Furniture in Albuquerque. It is also long enough that I can lay right out on it without having to scrunch up. It fits window to window across the back with about 3" on both sides. The slide outs do touch the front edge of the leather but not enough to matter.
  12. To the original poster.....I do not understand why you would even embrace the issue if you had "no exhaust leaks whatsoever".
