Lots of posts don't show up.

Every so often I post something, it appears to be there, but when I look at the thread later in the day (or the next day) it isn't there. If it had only happened once, I'd dismiss it, but it is happening every 3-4 days so I'm beginning to feel there must be a subtle message that I'm not getting.

I don't see any recently that have been hidden, if they were deleted by an admin I wouldn't see them.

If you didn't report your post above the admins probably won't see it so you might want to do that.

Barb, some time ago I saw that happen to one of my posts. I posted it - it was there - but when I came back later to read additions to that thread mine was missing. Never did figure out why. I figured Stan did not like what I said and deleted it ;)

Only folks that can answer questions about missing posts are the admins, they can hide them or delete them. Contact tehm via the report function and tell them where the missing posts used to be.

I sent in a report asking about the issue, likely will have to be bumped up to James if it is a forum glitch.

There is currently a thread that had 10 or so responses last night - today there are only 4 showing. None were nasty or beligerent --- where did they all go? One of those responses was mine and it is now gone.

Which thread is that? I have not seen that, but admin can make anything disappear if they wish.

It was under recipes - "all of you in your mid 60's" Asking about eliminating meat & potatoes for dinner because of age. You will see a post by me asking where all the prior comments went to. It's posts prior to that that disappeared. At least 5-6 disappeared.

If you are in the thread that you believe is missing posts, try clearing your browser history/cache and then reload the page. You don't have to close the browser, simply use the tools or settings section to clear, then reload whatever page you are on.

I have found that using white text such as this leaves blank spaces. So, any fault in memory is due to font color, not age!!

Missing Posts? Had the same thing happen to me the other day. My post may have been critical of what is happening to some of the Escapee RV parks and the new reservation system. I always thought FEEDBACK improved operations. But maybe not here.
