  1. We currently have a Ram 2500 with the CTD. It pulls well, has a decent range and is reliable. It takes 10 minutes to fill up and is in and out. We have 40K on it and it will go many more miles. When EV's arrive and duplicate or improve upon the Ram I will consider moving to one. The one caveat is they had better hurry as at my age the window is getting closer to closing.
  2. I had a Dodge V10 years ago and I got to know folks who run the gas stations pretty well. Planning a trip was being able to make sure a gas station was near. The Cummins sure made life easier. It is thirsty as well, 2016 gets 10-13 mpg towing whereas the V10 gave me all of 6 mpg. I know times have changed, with better mpg for gas, but the lessons of towing with a gasser vs a diesel remained ingrained. Not to demean a gas engine but it is for town trucks versus the diesels for cross country and country work. I can appreciate the folks who get the 18 Wheeler but wife would not drive one as we thought about it.
  3. A year too late but I would contact Statkus Engines, 505-765-1614, if you are in Albuquerque. statkusengines@gmail.com
  4. We winter in AZ and my magazine subscriptions become victims of the forwarding beast. Bulk versus 1st class we were told.
  5. I can't say as we have been drawn to $100 per night campgrounds not that I think it is wrong to charge that much in certain areas. NYC I avoid if possible and the Keys are a possible but not likely for us. There is something about the open spaces in the West that just warms my heart!
  6. Please confirm your email, rlfleeger@gmail.com. I tried to email you and it bounced, go figure. My email is motojavaphil@gmail.com

    Thanks, Phil
