Weighing a truck & trailer

This is the best article I've ever seen on how to weigh your pickup truck and travel trailer including how to calculate your tongue weight: http://tinyhousegiantjourney.com/2017/01/26/tiny-house-weight/. Yes, she's weighing a tiny house but the system should work for a travel trailer.

If you are traveling through a state that leaves the unattended scales on, pull on in. As you run each axle on the scales, stop and write down the weight. Add an axle and repeat until all axles are weighed. Back up and repeat with only one side on the scales. This will give you each wheel weight. Disconnect trailer and repeat with just the loaded truck. Now you have all your numbers with only a little math. I will be doing a spreadsheet that I will be able to just input the numbers and it will do it all.
