Arizona Drifter
I will be boondocking near Lake Ashurt for a week and there are no water connections to fill my tank. This site is off a forest service road approximately 20 miles southeast of Flagstaff off of exit 339. I will be driving north out of the Phoenix area. Does anyone know of a rest area or truck stop were I might be able to fill my water tank?
2gypsies
The Shell station on I-17 at the Camp Verde/Cottonwood exit used to have a potable water faucet at the building. trailertraveler
It has been a couple of years since we were in that area. There are fuel stations at the Camp Verde exit. There is an RV Park and Casino at the exit north of Camp Verde. There is an RV Park at Munds Park. There are a number of Forest Service Campgrounds off of Lake Mary Road at Exit 339. Some had water and one of the larger ones had a dump station. You could check with the Forest Office to see if that is still the case.
