  1. HI MARK!

Glad to see your post it's been a while. Question, I have a 1980-83 26" MOTOBECANE that is like brand new,I dont think it even has any scratches on it. If we sell it what do you thinf I can get for it? roadfitter@msn.com If you could shoot me an e-mail I would appreciate it. If it did need anything, tires and tubes thats it. Is there any chance you might make it to KS? Thank you.

  2. So if testosterone is in the "right" seat, is estrogen in the "wrong" seat?
  3. Henry, We are Map Aware Navigation w/ Testosterone Occupying Your Seat. Yes, we are MANTOYS.
  4. Diane earned her next stripe in the RDBE heirarchy...
  5. So, how do you suprise an RDBE? Send them to CO for a surprise trip to their daughter's wedding. Diane is in CO for four days to be with her daughter for her wedding. Diane didn't want to spend the cash as the NE housing market and the on the road plan has gone off-road for the last several months. So, I did what any self respecting RDBE subordinate would do: I got her an airline ticket, arranged substitute teachers for her fitness classes, rearranged her interview schedule and drove 90 miles to substitute teach at 5:30am. I at least told her she was going a good 12 hours before the plane left. If I didn't have a sub teaching gig yesterday, I would have told her when I dropped her at the airport.
  6. Phil, I'd encourage you to name the truck, or else it may get done for you. I didn't think my farm tractor needed a name, but it's now called Barbie. You might end up with Snowflake, Daisy, or even Angel Cake. Personally, I'd give a nod to the 1943 French Movie (Released in Austria), Le Camion Blanc
  7. See how well she (SWMBO) has Jim trained, and he's only been my neighbor for 5 months.
  8. Tom & Judy, You are welcome to come over to Retama Village in Mission and look at my truck. I'm sure any of the other HDT'ers here would show you theirs if asked. We usually have a few of us get together at 4 for Happy hour just about everyday except friday's. I'll be here until March 1. Mark
  9. The RDBE mistress has been remiss. While the RDBE's made a valiant attempt at taking the smokey chair crown at the ECR this year, they did win the most creative toad award. The creation of the toad did cause several of us to run (tell me more about this exercise of which you speak)to investigate. It turns out the speed that you ran was directly proportionate to the proximity of the creation event (aka Big Bang) to your trailer.
  10. Diane and I skipped all of the steps. A custom 5th wheel and our Volvo are our first RV.
  11. On the bicycle seat, 36 is my limit before a 4 hour nap. 600k brevets are tough. Diane has much higher pain threshold than I do.
  12. So what would an RDBE get for driving more than "Granite Butt" in a day?
  13. You are right Jack. 225 miles on a bicycle is a very nice daily mileage.
