It will work well on an 8' or narrower trailer but would not work with the larger 8'6" trailers/5th wheels/motorhomes since it would be almost 9' wide. I think it would work well. Reed and Elaine If you are responding to the Strolling Amok link, be aware he puts the panels inside the trailer for traveling. This works for him because he stays a long time in each place.
