  1. We are hanging out in NE Ohio (Chardon). Pretty strict with isolating. We are right down the road from our daughter Kelly & Dave and two grandkids. They are in our “bubble” so we see them often. Other than them we stay home. Both Marsha and I are doing well. We still have hopes of getting a small trailer and doing some traveling once this Covid virus is over. Be nice to get together with everyone. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Be safe and wear a mask. We are almost through this. Miss y’all.
  2. I noticed on Al's blog The Bayfield Bunch that Judy "the bird lady" of Travels with Emma (her dog) passed away. He posted some pics on his blog (http://thebayfieldbunch.com/) of the first Blogger Fest in Q and several members of the class are in the photos. Judy was a bird expert and a wonderful lady. Marsha plays Words with Friends on line with a group and Judy was a player. She never expressed that she was ill so I'm assuming it was an unexpected passing. Judy will be missed!
  3. So sorry to hear about Jim. Hope he is on the mend so he can enjoy those 120* temps. Sad to see those beautiful forests burn. Be same and enjoy your summer travels everyone! Paul & Marsha

Sad to see those beautiful forests burn.

Take care everyone and enjoy your summer travels.

  5. Oh my goodness. How awful. We will keep her in our prayers and pray for a speedy recovery
  6. We are alive and well ! Yep we had a beautiful grandson born on November 27. He is such a joy! We haven't given up the travel bug. We sold our dually truck and fifth wheel but are looking at travel trailers. We hope to get something suitable for traveling to the SW during the winter months (Jan, Feb, March). Hope to keep it small. Marsha is doing well after her stroke about a year ago. Physically she is back to normal although has taken on a little "Italian" accent. Cute! She is an inspiration to me for sure. Thanks for asking about us. We hope to be out west next winter and hopefully we'll see some of you! Enjoy your summer travels and be safe! Paul & Marsha
  7. I was a perfect candidate for mono vision. I’ve only wore one contact for the last maybe five or six years. He made my right eye my reading eye, my left eye for distance. I just had the surgery on Wednesday and I can see everything at a distance perfect. And then I can pick up a book and read with no problem. It’ll be so nice not to have a contact in or glasses on.
  8. That’s one thing we have a never done is going on the cruise. Everyone says we should just take a short trip maybe a three day. We’ve talked about it and maybe we go out since we are going to travel so much. Glad you are doing so well. If you ever get in the area please give us a shout out. We have a next your bedroom.
  9. They don’t look like they have aged a year. Thanks for sharing.
  10. We are hanging around Ohio until after the Christmas Holidays. Chancy I know but our daughter is expecting our first grand child and we want to be here for the BIG EVENT. We are reducing the amount of travel we normally do and most likely won’t venture West of Houston this winter. We’ll miss seeing the gang in Arizona. Safe travels everyone!
  11. I had a similar problem, as well. My East Coast/West Coast feeds were canceled and I was required to re-apply and only received East Coast feeds. I am currently looking at Dish Network and will probably switch the next time AT&T screws up my account.
  12. Marsha had a mild stroke on April 12. We are outside Jacksonville, Florida. After a restless night, she awoke feeling strange and we rushed her to the hospital. She was diagnosed with a mild stroke. She was released the following evening and is home in the 5th wheel. She is receiving outpatient therapy ( Speech, Occupational, and Physical). She follows up with her neurologist here on May 8 and hopefully will be released to travel. We will head to our summer home in Canton, Ohio to evaluate our future. Marsha has weakness in her right arm and has some difficulty forming thoughts into words. She has slight trouble walking but that is mainly due to tiredness. She is receiving therapy three times a week, exercising , and taking walks in the CG. We are hoping for a full recovery! She would greatly appreciate your prayers for a full recovery. In the meantime......be safe and enjoy your summer travels!
  13. Such wonderful news! Enjoy the summer and hopefully we'll see you again next winter.
  14. Yep...good to hear both Freddie & Delcie are doing fine. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! Be safe!
