whatsnext
What size water pump do you have? Ours has a 2.6 gpm rating and the flow is fine but the DW would like a little better shower pressure/volume when needed. Just curious what size others have. Thanks upon review, this may be in the wrong forum section. sorry. 2016 Volvo VNL780 D13 I-Shift 2016 DRV 44 Houston 2015 Smart Cabriolet
AFchap
Loved the output of the Shurflo SmartSensor 5.7gpm pump, but each one lasted an average of a year or less. After the last failure I replaced it with a Flojet vsd 4.5gpm. It works fine, but I am not real happy with it ... doesn't seem much better than the Shurflo 1.8gpm I kept as a backup when the 5.7 kept failing. In reading the specs I find it has a much lower psi than the Shurflo. I believe Shurflo has a variable speed 4.6 gpm model. In retrospect I wish I had tried it or an Aquajet rather than the Flojet. Big Greg
x2 on the AquaJet ES from the RV Water Filter Store . It's been working great now 3+ years. We went through 3 Shurflo 5.7 pumps in 3 years. I saw the AquaJet and was leaning towards that but wasn't sure if you could have TOO much of a good thing (gpm)!! LOL I'll probably head in that direction. 2016 Volvo VNL780 D13 I-Shift 2016 DRV 44 Houston 2015 Smart Cabriolet
whatsnext
Just put a Oxygenics shower head on, problem solved. Jim I am also going to acquire one of these too. My DW really likes a shower that she can turn off while lathering without having to mess around with the temperature. 2016 Volvo VNL780 D13 I-Shift 2016 DRV 44 Houston 2015 Smart Cabriolet
Kirk W
Just put a Oxygenics shower head on, problem solved. We put one in our RV and it makes much more difference than any pump change. It improves even poor city water pressure supplies. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... KodiakJack
We are now using a Shurflo 4048 (4 gpm) pump and carry a spare. Loved the old Shurflo 5.7 but it was way too much work to keep repairing it. Later, J PS Our Oxygenics shower head is great, especially when boondocking. 2012 Landmark, San Antonio 2013 Silverado CC, 3500HD, Duramax, DRW, 4x4 Backup, side and hitch cameras, Tireminder TPMS

lartross
I installed an oxygenics shower head and when I pause it, the water quickly gets cold. If I cut it off with a separate on/off valve, it just gets a little cooler. And I didn't like the spray pattern and couldn't figure out how to adjust it, so I went back to my camco shower head with a separate on/off valve because the camco valve was hard to work. I have an aquajet pump which I like. 2003 Coachman Chaparal 276 RLS 2000 F250, 7.3l auto ext. cab 4x4
