Thanks for the response. Things were confusing for about two weeks as most things worked. But I could not post on this forum.

So this is a rest post. My old iPad mini had a few problems lately. So this is just a test

Glade everyone is doing good. Things will get better, although it may seem like a long time away. When our truck was totaled, it seemed like things were very slow in the process. We needed to heal from being hit twice from the same tractor trailer. Ended up on our side. We were out for dinner, so we did not have the fifth wheel with use. we did have a place to live. But finding a truck was one thing. Get a bed and hitch on it was another subject. Make sure you are good health wise. And the puppies, I see one in the truck looking out. One thing I did learn from our ordeal, was to contact where everything was towed to. They should leave you in the vehicles to get things out. You also need to talk with the insurance company to see what is covered, for extra things you installed in the RV as extra Stuff. If it is not covered, Can you remove it. That is if you want to or not. I would suggest getting what you can asap. In our situation where other vehicles were involved, we were not allowed to take pictures of the other vehicles that were in the tow yard. We’re you planning on staying in the Billings area for a while. Or was it just a quick stop. We are in western Montana so if you want me to look at any Rv stuff out our way, I will. As for finding those fittings, check with auto parts stores for fittings for air shock systems. That could help. Does the collet move at all. Look at the end of the air line. It could just have compressed the line over time. And just happened to come out. The line may wore off where the collet grips the line. Possibly just cut 1/4” off the end, at a very slight angle, apply silicone lube. Then try pushing it back into place, rotating as pushing? Just a quick thought.

What kind of A/C units do you have. And what thermostat do you have. With that information, things may be able to figure your situation out.

That picture of a spark plug in the air intake, may have some actual thoughts to it. I was at a shop a few days ago that works on old equipment and hit and miss engines. He was moving stuff around, and he seen this carburetor in a pile of engine parts. I will do some more investigating about the idea when we get back home. We are adventurously traveling around south eastern Montana for a few days.

I am wondering if your fridge temperature is set too cold. I believe that that drain line should not freeze? Set a small plastic cup of water, next to the fins on the interior cooling fins. Watch the water in the cup. It should not freeze over? Except just for a short time. You cannot keep opening the door to check it. Or the fridge will not be functioning correctly. Just when you open the door for something, look to see if it is frozen. You normally will see frost on one end of the fins occasionally. Those fins should not freeze solid? But set that cup next to those fins that frost. This water freezing is a known temperature setting. Water freezes at 32 degrees, all over the world. Thermometers may be off?

I am going to suggest several things to do to hopefully prepare you for your adventures. These are different things that you can do previously to getting behind the wheel. Look online for a commercial drivers manual? This will give you a idea how large vehicles work besides your normal one you have driven before. It should give you a idea how when being passed by a truck, it may affect your vehicle. Then I would suggest visiting a campground to see how other people handle there experience of pulling into a campground. Then how they maneuver there outfit in a campground. While you are there, walk around during the morning and mid afternoon. While walking around, watch how people pull or back into there sites. Then watch how they connect up to there utilities. Another thing to do as you can, is visiting a Truck stop.. Just park possibly where you can watch RV,s pull in for fueling. How they maneuver there vehicle around the area. While at a truck stop, look for where RV,s are parking for the night. Most truck stops have a place to visit the dump station. You need to figure that out also. We all started our first time. Most of us have done more than one mistake in our adventures. Hopefully this will help you some. Vern

The reverse rotation Offenhauser engine was built with the thinking of Smoky Yunick and the factory. If I remember correctly. And I believe it was run in the Indianapolis 500. I may be spelling the engine manufacturers name wrong

Could reverse cam engine, suck the oil out of the engine?

I believe it will have power steering fluid in it. Does it leak while sitting. Or just after it is parked. I would try and make sure that the repair place, has the proper steering box on hand. So as not to get stuck there. You could ask at a NAPA auto parts store if there are any mobile truck mechanics in the area. That may solve some questions.

We have a winner. The reverse engine was used to counter the force of the regulator engine drive on the prop and propulsion on the water column. When using twin engines in a boat. At least that was one reason. Back about 1990 I was in discussions about building a reverse engine for a sprint car. That idea was to hold the left front wheel on the ground. The conventional rotation engine lifts the left front wheel of the ground while cornering with power down. Since the person I was talking to was a low budget operation and no internet. Things were hard to discover new ideas. So talking was all that was ever accomplished on that subject. Although I do believe that reverse drive small blocks were around then. When racing cars, who would look at boats.

Yesterday I had a visit to the ophthalmologist. Had a detailed vision test. Then had my eyes dilated. The ophthalmologist came into the room. We talked about my vision. He is more than confused. But said my vision has been stable for over 18 months. I told him the different vision test I have been doing. I also told him how to find new medical information on the net. That is new medical information for all medical situations. He never heard of Google Scholar. This website has no advertising? No selling of anything. Just factual information.
