  2. If you are talking about Ceraland in Columbus, IN it used to be for Cummins employees but it's now a campground for anyone, doesn't have to be Cummins powered. I've been there with a Cat and my son with his Detroit.
  3. Just downloaded it, not quite as easy but, I looks like it will do everything I want. Thanks Dick
  4. I'm in search of an app that I used all the time, actually in the background all of the time. I am recovering from a crash with a new new computer, long story. I didn't really lose much data because of that app and I was able to recover much off of the old C drive. Please don't tell me about how I SHOULD have done it that's not important now. I run three drives in my computer, "C" basically only has programs on it. All working files are on "D" with "E" getting duplicates of the really important stuff on "D". I had an app that handled that backup stuff. I could set it for each folder by time as little as 15 minutes for each folder from any drive to any drive. It was easy to use without doing any writing of batch code, and it was free. Problem is I can't remember the name of it or, where I got it. I've spent 2 days trying to find something that is close. Hoping someone has something they like.
  5. My optometrist told me that there are three major eye problems, macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma and everyone gets all three if you live long enough. There are probably as many opinions about it as there are doctors. My understanding of MD or WMD is it isn't anything you have done, it just happens. One information I read said that people with blue eyes, me, are more likely to get WMD. I have done a fair amount of welding in my time. Also if it is a part of an automobile I have probably had it in my eye, and mouth at some time or other.
  6. Did he say Macular Degeneration or Wet Macular Degeneration. My understanding is that MD does not necessarily turn into WMD. My understanding of WMD is that the blood vessels in the macula burst and bleed, thus the wet part. The shots are to keep it from getting any worse.
  7. I have WMD in both eyes and have been getting the shots for 4 years now. Started off every 6 weeks and gradually stretched out to 12. I had a scare about a year ago and the shots in one eye went back to 8 wks. I'm now back to 12 wks in both eyes. Doc said I was one of her major success stories because my eyesight actually got better which is pretty much unheard of. Unfortunately the shots are for the rest of my life. The worst part for me is the evening after the shot. In varying degrees it feels like sand in my eye and nose won't stop running. Next morning everything is fine. I thank God that it isn't worse than it is and for the most part hasn't stopped me from doing the things I want. Driving after dark is pretty much out now but, I don't think that is entirely the WMD. Good luck with your treatments. Dick
  8. I've had two and my experience has not been good. The Kubota engine is great. Both generators had a problem with the rotor and repairs are extremely expensive. Both had the same problem and neither had very many hours. I'll not consider another.
  9. It isn't just pressure treated lumber in short supply. Pine boards especially the really nice no knot stuff is really short. So are some grades of plywood.
  10. I eat honey and cinnamon every morning for breakfast. Either on Italian bread or English muffin bread toasted. Much better than a cinnamon roll, might be slightly less calories. We by local honey by the gallon, honey doesn't spoil. We also buy Ceylon cinnamon, in my limited research it does more of the "good" things that cinnamon is supposed to do than that which comes from other countries. In my opinion the farmer/local honey tastes more like the honey I remembered as a kid. The imported/big chain/grocery store stuff doesn't really have much taste. I also think the Ceylon cinnamon tastes better. I really don't have any allergies so I can't speak to that. As with all, in my opinion, remedies, I don't see much difference but, maybe I would feel much worse it I didn't do it. I feel the same about pain killers, even the "good" ones. I just don't see any reduction in my pain.
  11. All very strange. I went to the above link about Boyd's and it showed a map. I thought, "that looks like the location where we lived". Did a little more searching and found a listing for Woodson's in the exact same location on a map as Boyd's. The Boyd's website says they started in 1963 we lived there in 1969. Neither wife or I remember anything like a campground there. At that time there wasn't really much on the north side of Stock island. Side note: Wife spent the night that hurricane Camille was supposed to hit in that trailer, me in a tin shack on the runway at the air base. History seems to have a way of not being quite right, or at least the way I remember it. I found two websites that said according to ships log the USS Constellation CVA64 was in Vietnam in late 70 early 71. It was in drydock in Bremerton WA during the time in question. I walked under it. Connie didn't leave for Vietnam until three days after I was discharged in August 1971.
  12. I was stationed at NAS Key West in the early 70's. We lived in Woodson's Trailer park, looks like it is now Boyd's campground. Woodson's was kind of a dump but, we were just married and it was cheap. Base housing was full.
  13. Many years ago, with a load of specialty vehicles at night in PA mountains, cell phone was a bag phone, I picked up a tail. I could tell there were more than one in the car. I couldn't shake it. It didn't matter how slow I went they wouldn't go around on a four lane interstate. I couldn't get a signal on the phone and didn't want to get off to look for police because I didn't know the area. I had just bought fuel so I figured if nothing else I could run them out of gas. Most truckstops were closed that time of night. , I wasn't about to stop. They followed for over 200 miles before finally dropping off. I can think of no good reason why someone in a car or light truck would follow a semi for very long, especially since most places cars travel faster.
  14. As a truck driver, retired, if you were close enough to keep people from getting between you , you were WAY to close. I also would have been trying to get rid of you WAY before 150 miles.
