  1. We are interested for a month in 2020. Tried the email contact and it was kicked back. Tried the surveymonkey link and it was a 404 error so I believe this information may be outdated?
  2. You didn't mention what style/type of water you have so will address the common one - the suburban dual gas/electric. Did you fill your water tank after taking out of storage and if so, where? Were you on city water in Cody? As you mentioned replacing the plug in the heater I will assume you had an empty heater while in storage so... First, inspect and replace if necessary the anode. Sometimes this is also the electrical heating element in the heater. The smell can be caused by out-gassing of the calcification being burned off. We noticed an increase in calcification while in Texas due to the hard water so paid attention to the quality and used a softener in several areas. Cody has naturally sulfur smelling water and a good charcoal filter is highly recommended if you are using city water. This is true anywhere in the vicinity of Yellowstone - nature of the beast being in/one a volcano. You may have sediment in your heater tank that no amount of changing anodes or heating elements will cure. A thorough flush-out while dewinterizing or after taking out following an extended storage is highly recommended. Lastly, white vinegar is your friend and there are several videos out there covering its use in a water heater to clean it out.
  3. You didn't mention which model/type of Kindle you have so its very hard to troubleshoot. If you have a fire type, the typical android volume control + power button reboot can usually solve several problems. If you have an older model it does depend a great deal on which one. For example, the 3rd gen keyboard type and those before can sometimes be recovered by removing the books on the device via a data cable from a laptop/computer to the device. The 30 second power hold is another method as mentioned.
  4. Chris-n-Dennis!

THANK YOU...THANK YOU....THANK YOU! For your hard work in creating an est. RV exp. report!  YOU have NO idea how much that meant to us!!

We are sold on ther NEWELL or COUNTRY COACH Class A motorhomes.  In the process of looking at used options for long time RVing.

Looking into Health, vehicle , and life insurance, maybe even appliance insurance as we CONTINUALLY are having issues with our home appliances!

Sooooooooo sorry, it took us so long to notify you of our appreciation of your information!  Please forgive!

Any OTHER pieces of wisdom you may have to offer, would be deeply appreciated!

We JUST became "Escapee" members, so as to prepare ourselves for the RV life!

    Sincerely,

    Nate & Lily

  5. Beside winterizing the rig as suggested, I recommend considering a method for snow removal on the roof. Either you have your neighbor do it when needed or create a tent type arrangement so the snow slides off. Just a thought - after seeing one get crunched from this past winter's "splendor".
  6. Contract programming. I used to do web design as well but programming side took off leaving little time for that. We also volunteer as camp hosts and visitor center interpreters. Money is always helpful but the hosting gig provides us with the much more desired interaction with people.
  7. Looks like SQL server glitch. Give it a few and it will probably clear up,
  8. Wife was just gifted with a "Color for Calm" book. Very nice graphics and usually not that challenging. She does the coloring thing when her kindle is charging. Must relax her 'cause the honey do list remains a lot shorter than it used to be which increases my relaxation substantially.
