kinseypw
We are Canadian Snowbirds who are now fulltiming. We spend winters boondocking around Yuma and then head back to Canada for the "summer" months. We bought Medipac insurance last year as supplementary insurance since our provincial free health care plan does not cover all the costs we might incur in the US if we become ill. We are hoping to find a cheaper alternative this year than the $1700 medipac is quoting and wonder if anyone has had experiences with these or any other insurance companies? FULLTIMEWANABE
We used Alberta Blue Cross for years until they decided to omit the precautionary drug Rampiril (kidney blood pressure) Dr put me on when first diagnosed with Diabetes - went to Travel Guard who had no problems - stuck with them even though Blue Cross changed their tune within a few months. Check out Travel Guard and Blue Cross for a quote maybe. Be sure to let us know what you find as the best option. We're within less than 2 years to FT now so very envious you are already that status
