  1. I agree with all of your comments. My Flex Armor roof was installed in January 2016 and it still looks just like it did 5 years ago. During a major storm at my home base this past October a 6 inch diameter tree limb from a close by 150 year old oak tree fell from 45' or so. It was a glancing blow right to the corner of my roof and the only damage was an area of bark residue from the limb which wiped off with a damp cloth. No damage, no dents, no tear and best of all no leaks or caulking to worry about. Mine was installed in Madison, AL.
  2. Here is the Alabama Plan. I don't know the number of doses coming to AL or when, but I might qualify under 1b. Time will tell I guess. I the mean time, continue hunkering down in my RV.
  3. I have the NY feeds as of right now, except ABC which must be fighting pricing again.
  4. Oops! You are correct. I hadn't had my second cup yet.
  5. I googled it and found this site: https://www.replacementlightbulbs.com/lamp1695.html
  6. There are definitely benefits to living in an RV full time. 32 hours now since the storm took our electricity away and I'm sitting here drinking a cup of hot coffee watching last night's news on the TV. My built in generator is worth every penny. The power company told us yesterday it could be 4 days before power is restored since they had a full 1/3 of their customers without power. There was a lot of cleanup going on around here yesterday, cutting trees off of roads, etc. but zero power line maintenance. We have to wait out turn and we are just a little place.
  7. A lot of this won't mean much to those not in this area, but Maplesville is approx 60 miles south of Birmingham, AL just west of I-65. I spent part of the night with a friend a half mile from my home base site.I'm back at my place and no obvious damage, but an oak limb just missed my 5th. wheel. Lots of limbs down all around. Power is off everywhere I can see. County Road 10 is blocked between Maple Dr. and Hwy 22. Power lines down across Maple Dr at CR 10. Reed Street blocked by tree between Hwy 22 and Maple Dr. Power lines down on Maple Dr between Shanks Dr and Loper Ln. Lines down on Hwy 22 at Shanks Dr.That is all I have seen. I just fired up my generator and thinking about a cup of coffee.
  8. I certainly don't want to be responsible for making the rules either. Those days retired when I did. I just finished a stint hosting at a COE campground in west central Alabama and no sites are closer than 40'+. Now I am at my home base site which is in a small town (700 population), on a residential lot sized for two homes and I'm the only one on the site. My nearest neighbor is at least 300' away. Masks are the rule in Alabama everywhere, but rarely do I see any masks being used in this rural area except mine when on a food run.
  9. I have been using https://fppf.com/product/total-power/ in every tank of fuel for 14 years in the same 2006 GMC Duramax. I don't know how long a tank will sit and still be good, but I have had one injector replaced in this time period and 211,000 miles. Is this longevity due to the additive? No clue, but it doesn't cost that much and I feel better using it. It was recommended by a long time diesel user/mechanic when I bought my truck new.
  10. A little over an hour. I don't know exactly since I left expecting several hours. When I got back it was waiting on a restart which I did. I was expecting several hours since I have a Samsung laptop with 12gb ram, I7, 1 tb hard drive and it took almost 7 hours to update, but that was on much slower internet. I was amazed at how fast it really did load.
  11. My SurfacePro 6 is updating to W10 ver 2004 right now. I just noticed it was available. Now how long will it take?
  12. I have a Splendide 2100XC and have been using it full time for 10 years. My rig has a hamper built in that I use for white items and I use the Splendide for colors. Since colors for me build up faster than whites when I have a load in the Splendide I run it. Then run the whites when I have a load. Easy.
  13. My primary computer/laptop, Samsung, upgraded a couple of days ago. The total process took a little over 4 hours. The d/l wasn't that long, but the install was Loooooooooooooong. The laptop is an I7 with 12gb ram so it isn't a slow unit. I also have a Surface Pro 6 and it is not "ready for 2004 yet".
  14. Thanks Kirk. I have a policy of NEVER clicking on a link from any email. If if is something I may be interested in I go to that web site directly. It is certainly tempting in a moment of "surfing" to click on one of those and you definitely never know.
