Here in Kalispell...woke me up, but I thought some dipwad was messing with my truck...looked outside didn't see any one. Went back to bed, a few minutes later, same thing only not as much time.  Ugh - people!  Then in the morning I was checking the news and EARTHQUAKE.  Made me laugh.  Having spent my younger years in the North Bay Area of California, this wasn't bad at all.

The man in the RV trailer next to me didn't feel a thing...his wife thought it was him thrashing around in the bed.  Evidently Montana is very active with quakes...some bigger than others.

Hi Ya,  Who knows of an app for Android to locate big rig friendly gas stations.  Both sides of the border.

Google maps satellite view can help look for access. Street view can help look for clearances.

We use those views for many things. They are great in determining even if you want to stop at some RV parks.   Also, truck stops almost always have big rig friendly pumps.  Check for Flying J, Pilot, Love's, etc.  You can add datafiles to a GPS so you know how close.  Or, there is even a book out, NEXT, which tells you what exit along your route these stations are.

A couple apps to check out.

This is what I do for fuel and campgrounds. Flying J's have dedicated RV pumps.

We are at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. They allowed us to park with the trailer hooked up, full hookups with 50 amp on grass. Cheap too. Here for at least a week. Lots of Lincoln stuff to do.

Travel safe everyone.

As a kid growing up in Illinois we did lots of Lincoln stuff. I remember one time we visited New Salem and the guide followed us around listening as my Grandpa explained things to us. :)

I'll post on this site because it's getting left behind.

We arrived in Neepawa, Manitoba this afternoon.  Our daughter, son-in-law and two teenaged grandsons live just up the hill from this lovely Lions Club campsite.  Very pretty, on a meandering creek

.

This journey brings us only half way across the country to our destination in Fenelon Falls, Ontario.  Ontario is wider than Texas.  Slow and easy and we will get there.

No problems with the motorhome and we are gradually learning how everything works. Satellite service is next.

Good news! It sounds like some of the Classless Classmates cannot say the same.

I'm so very sorry.  It sounds like you've had one heck of a rough time.  Have you been given a clean slate or is this something you'll have to deal with in the future?  We sure hope all these problems are behind you and you just have smooth sailing ahead.  Your daughter is one special lady.  She's sure been busy lately taking care of both of you!  I gather you're in Paducah and just getting better.  Hopefully, you'll feel so much better that you'll start getting hitch-itch!

We're sweating in Phoenix right now.  This hot weather sure makes you appreciate the cool mornings we recently complained about in the Pacific NW.

It's been so hot here in Texas the morning lows are between 75 & 80 degrees and the heat index around 105. I've had no desire to work on my racecar inside of the trailer. It has doors on 3 sides but it would still be like an oven. Looks like we'll have tropical storm Harvey bringing us lots of rain this weekend. More humidity is what we need. LOL!

Travel safe everyone.

We are still in Paducah, I am getting stronger every day, it will probley be Thanksgiving before we get on the road again. Delcie has come up with some issues. She has enlarged limph nodes in her leg and a mass in the tail of her pancres. We are waiting for bipopsy results, don't know anything yet.
